STRAND EXTENDED RETURNS POLICY

 

To ensure our customers are wrapping Joy this festive season, we will offer an Extended Returns period. All customers who make a purchase between 20th November and 26th December will be eligible to exchange or return their items by Sunday 25th January 2025.

 

Returns made with a Receipt: A refund, exchange or credit note will be offered provided that the products are returned to their original condition, with tags attached.

 

Returns made without a Receipt: An exchange or credit note will be offered provided that the products are returned in original condition, with tags attached, at the current product value.

DELIVERY

Delivery Options & Costs

Delivery is estimated within 2-7 business days from the time of placing your order. For regional areas, please allow up to 10 business days. International delivery is not available. We only deliver to mainland Australia and Tasmania.

 

Plese note: During sale events, delivery times may be extended due to high order volumes. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

Our standard delivery rates vary based on the size of the items. Please refer to the table below for the costs. The total delivery costs will be computed during checkout.

How can I track my order?

 

Track your order using the link in your dispatch confirmation email, or visit strandbags.com.au and visit 'Track My Order'.

 

Can my order be delivered to a PO Box/locker?

Yes, your order can be delivered to PO boxes and lockers.

Please also ensure the dimensions of the items you have ordered will fit in your PO Box/locker. In the event where your order is too large to fit, your parcel will be left behind the counter at the Post Office where your PO Box is situated.

 

What if I am not at home when my order arrives?

 

A signature upon delivery is required. If you are not present during an attempted delivery, a card will be left to inform you where your order can be collected instead. You can nominate someone else to get the delivery for you. Simply prepare an authorisation letter and IDs to authorise someone else to accept the package.

 

Issues with your order?

We take great care in packing your order. In the unlikely event of an item being incorrect or you are missing an item in your order when it is delivered to you, please let us know as soon as possible. You can reach out to us via email us at customercare@strandbags.com.au or use the 'Report Issue' tab on our help centre page here.

If you have entered the incorrect address on your order, please let us know by contacting us immediately at 1800 773 777 or customercare@strandbags.com.au, and our team will handle the amendments. If your order has already been picked & packed or shipped, amendments can not be made.

Lost Parcels

We do not require a signature on delivery. If your online purchase does not arrive within 10 days of dispatch, please contact the delivery carrier directly using the tracking information we provided. If the carrier is unable to resolve the issue, you may request that we investigate your purchase. We will review the situation, and if we determine that the non-arrival was due to an error on our part you may choose to have either a replacement sent or a refund issued (credited to the original payment method, in line with our Delivery and Returns Policy).

 

Strand cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to items after they have been left at the delivery location.

 

We may also refuse future deliveries to addresses we consider unsecure. If this applies, our customer service team will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery location for subsequent online purchases.

CLICK & COLLECT

Click & Collect In Store

Click & Collect allows you to order online and pick up from your nearest STRAND store at no extra charge.

 

If all items in your order are available at your chosen store and your order is placed by 1pm (local store time), you may be eligible for 3-Hour Click & Collect, with your order ready within 3 hours during store trading hours. Orders placed after 1pm, or orders not eligible for 3-Hour Click & Collect, will usually be ready the next business day.

 

If some of your items are not available at your selected store, you will need to choose another store, select shipping or update your cart to continue.

 

Please note: During sale events, peak trade periods or public holidays, Click & Collect — including 3-Hour Click & Collect — may be delayed due to high order volumes.

 

Once your order is ready, we’ll email you with collection instructions. You have 14 days from this notification to collect your order. To pick up, please bring photo ID (driver’s licence or passport) and your order confirmation email. Orders not collected within 14 days will be cancelled and any payment refunded in store.

How do I place a Click & Collect order?

At checkout, select "Click & Collect in Store" at Step 2: Shipping. Enter your postcode or suburb to find your nearest participating store and choose your preferred location.

Are there any Click & Collect fees?

No, Click & Collect is completely free. You only pay for the items you purchase.

RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Returns Policy

  • We hope that you will love your new Strand purchase. If you do change your mind about your purchase, you are welcome to return your product to us within 30 days of receipt:
    - Return unused items in original, resaleable condition.
  • - Items must have all tags attached and you'll need proof of purchase.
  • - Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.

  • You can return items in-store or by post. For in-store returns, visit any Strandbags store with your receipt. Refunds process within 1-3 business days (5-7 days for PayPal and similar online payment services). Bring your proof of purchase and original credit card if applicable. To return by post, complete the returns slip included with your order (including reason for return) and pack items securely in original packaging. Attach the returns label over the original delivery label and send to: Online Returns, Strandbags, 1 Kellet Cl., Erskine Park NSW 2759.

 

Use tracked delivery or obtain a Certificate of Posting - you are liable for the parcel until it reaches us. Keep your Certificate of Posting as it contains a unique reference number needed if your return goes missing. Allow up to 14 business days for processing. Return postage costs are your responsibility for unwanted or unsuitable purchases. Original delivery charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. We cannot process refunds for lost parcels without a Certificate of Posting.

Exchange Policy

 

Exchanges are available in-store within 30 days of purchase. Visit any Strandbags store with your proof of purchase and our team will assist you. Find your nearest store at strandbags.com.au/store-locator

Exchanges cannot be processed via post or without proof of purchase. If you've returned an item by post and would like a different product, you'll need to place a new order online once your refund is processed.

 

What if the item is faulty?

 

If your items purchased are faulty, please bring the item(s) along with proof of purchase, to any Strandbags store where the staff will be able to assess the fault and find a suitable form of redress. You can find your nearest Strandbags store by clicking here.
