How to Set Your Luggage Lock
A luggage lock is an essential item to help keep your belongings safe while you travel. But how do you set the lock on your new luggage? It’s easy! Here’s a quick guide:
Most modern luggage sets come with built-in combination locks. If your set doesn’t, don’t worry – you can always buy a separate lock.
Your luggage will come with a factory setting (usually 000 or 123). To change it, locate the small reset button or lever on the side of the lock.
Press and hold the reset button (or move the lever), then turn the dials to your desired 3-digit combination. Make sure to choose a number you’ll remember!
Once you’ve set your code, release the reset button. Try the combination a couple of times to ensure the lock is working properly. Voilà – your luggage is now secure!
