STRANDBAGS LOYALTY PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS


1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. Strandbags Group Pty Limited (ABN 52 002 696 915) (Strandbags) runs a loyalty program (Strandbags Loyalty Program) in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below.

1.2. By joining the Strandbags Loyalty Program you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any variations to them.

1.3. If you are an employee of Strandbags, you are not eligible to participate in the Strandbags Loyalty Program.

 

2. MEMBERSHIP

2.1. To become a member and participate in the Strandbags Loyalty Program, you need to have and maintain a valid email address.

2.2. You may join the Strandbags Loyalty Program by signing-up in a Strandbags store or on the Strandbags website. After you have signed-up, you will receive an email setting out the process to activate your membership. If you wish to profit from the Strandbags Loyalty Program benefits, you need to activate your membership and become an ‘activated member’.

2.3. Upon signing-up instore you will be issued with a Strandbags Loyalty Card. If you have signed-up online, you may collect your Strandbags Loyalty Card from any Strandbags store by quoting your email address. Your Strandbags Loyalty Card is for your personal use only and is not transferrable.

2.4. It is your responsibility to keep your Strandbags Loyalty Card safe and to present it at the time of making a purchase in a Strandbags store. Strandbags is entitled to regard the person presenting a Strandbags Loyalty Card as the genuine cardholder and is not responsible for stolen, lost or damaged Strandbags Loyalty Cards or for any misdirected, lost or not received benefits.

2.5. Strandbags Loyalty Cards and Strandbags Loyalty Vouchers remain the property of Strandbags at all times.

2.6. It is your responsibility to keep your email and contact details up to date. If your email address becomes invalid, Strandbags will automatically de-activate your membership from the Strandbags Loyalty Program and you will become a ‘deactivated member’ until such time as you re-activate your membership. Please note that deactivated members automatically forfeit for the period of their deactivation all their benefits issued from their participation in the Strandbags Loyalty Program.

 

3. TERMINATION

3.1. You may terminate your membership to the Strandbags Loyalty Program at any time and without reason by doing any of the following:-
(a) logging into your Account Management page online at the Loyalty section of the Strandbags website at www.strandbags.com.au and choosing to unsubscribe; or
(b) selecting the unsubscribe option on emails sent to you by Strandbags; or
(c) emailing Customer Service at customerservice@strandbags.com.au; or
(d) calling Customer Service on +61 2 9479 7777; or
(e) giving written notice to Strandbags, Attn Strandbags Loyalty Program (Privacy), Locked Bag 77, St Ives NSW 2075.

3.2. Strandbags reserves the right at any time without notice and in its absolute discretion to suspend, vary or terminate the Strandbags Loyalty Program and associated terms and conditions.

3.3. Strandbags accepts no liability for any loss or damage associated with suspensions, variations, or terminations as set out in this Clause 3 or arising from the Strandbags Loyalty Program, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

 

4. BENEFITS

4.1. The Strandbags Loyalty Program operates two spend periods per year 1st January to 30th June and 1st July to 31st December (Spend Periods).

4.2.  If you are an activated member of the Strandbags Loyalty Program and have spent $50 or more on product purchases, in a Strandbags store within a Spend Period, you qualify for a Strandbags Loyalty Voucher.

4.3. Gift Voucher purchases do not qualify towards the total retail dollar value you have spent during the Spend Period.

4.4. The value of the Strandbags Loyalty Voucher issued to you, will represent $5 for every $50AUD/NZD you spent in a Strandbags store within the relevant Spend Period.

4.5. Strandbags will issue you with your Strandbags Loyalty Voucher within 6 months following the end of the relevant Spend Period. The exact date of issue remains at the discretion of Strandbags.

4.6. Strandbags Loyalty Vouchers will only be issued to members who are deemed activated members at the time of issue.

4.7. If you purchase goods on lay-by, their entire value is accumulated in the Spend Period when you first established the lay-by. Accordingly, any lay-by payments you may subsequently make do not qualify towards the total retail dollar value you spent during the subsequent Spend Period(s).

4.8. If you benefit from a refund on a purchase you made during a Spend Period, the refund will be deducted from the total retail dollar value of the purchases you made (Spend Value) in the Spend Period when the refund transaction is made.

4.9. If you cannot provide proof of your membership to the Strandbags Loyalty Program (by presenting your Strandbags Loyalty Card or by quoting your email address or telephone number)at the time of making a purchase, Strandbags is not obliged to credit the value of your purchase towards your accumulated Spend Value for the current Spend Period.

4.10. These Terms and Conditions apply to the Strandbags Loyalty Program in general. All competitions and other offers within the Strandbags Loyalty Program may be subject to a separate set of terms and conditions, which will apply to you if you decide to participate in the said competition or offer.

 

5. LOYALTY VOUCHER CONDITIONS

5.1. You may redeem your Strandbags Loyalty Voucher:-
(a) in any mainstream Strandbags store in Australia or New Zealand;
(b) within 4 weeks only from the date it was issued (Redemption Period); and
(c) against the current selling price of full price and sale product.

5.2. You may not redeem your Strandbags Loyalty Voucher:
(a) in a Strandbags Direct Factory Outlet;
(b) in conjunction with any other offer or promotional voucher;
(c) on a prior purchase, existing lay-by or on the purchase of Gift Vouchers.

5.3. Your Strandbags Loyalty Voucher must be redeemed in full in a single transaction during its Redemption Period and no cash or credit may be issued for the balance of your Strandbags Loyalty Voucher if you have not redeemed it in full.

5.4. You may only redeem one Strandbags Loyalty Voucher per transaction.

5.5. Your Strandbags Loyalty Voucher is for your exclusive use only and is non-transferrable. Its value will not be replaced if it is stolen, lost or not received.

 

6. PRIVACY POLICY

By signing-up to the Strandbags Loyalty Program, you consent to:-

6.1. Strandbags collecting personal information about you for the purpose of your participation to the Strandbags Loyalty Program;

6.2. receiving communications from Strandbags regarding Strandbags latest products, offers and competitions;

6.3. receiving communications from Strandbags about third party products, discounts and offers which Strandbags believes may be of interest to you.

6.4. Strandbags will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security and privacy of all your personal information and data collected from and about you.

6.5. You consent to Strandbags using and sharing your personal information with a service provider or agent retained by Strandbags for the purposes of conducting market research, data warehousing, data analysis and advertising in the commercial interest of Strandbags; and for the purpose of ensuring the proper functioning of the Strandbags Loyalty Program.

6.6. Strandbags will not otherwise disclose or permit the use of any of your personal information unless required by law.
