DELIVERY AND STORE PICK UPS
When making an Online Purchase on the Website You have the option of having the Product(s) You order delivered directly to You or alternatively you can choose to collect them from one of Our many stores. Whichever You choose We hope You will be pleased with Your purchases.
THERE ARE NO DELIVERY CHARGES FOR STORE PICK UP ALL YOU PAY FOR IS THE GOODS YOU BUY
Our convenient delivery service costs just $9.95 per Order for small to medium items regardless of the quantity purchased. Larger Products such as suitcases and duffle bags which are over 55cm long can be delivered in the same way for an additional $5.00 per item. We understand how eager You will be to receive the Products you order so as a guide we aim to deliver them within 3 or 4 working days depending on the time of day your Order is placed*.
If you are placing an order for a pre Christmas delivery or pick up in store we suggest orders are placed on or before December 14th. We will endeavour to deliver orders or make available for pick up before Christmas if placed after this date but we can not guarantee
Deliveries will be made between 9.00AM – 5.00PM Monday to Friday and a signature will be required on receipt. Please note there will be no weekend or public holiday deliveries.
If for some reason We are unable to complete the delivery, a card will be left informing You that We called and advising You where the Products You ordered can be collected.
Our Delivery service covers mainland Australia and Tasmania.
The progress of your Order can be tracked on the internet by following the link in the email we send you confirming despatch.
* While for most deliveries we work to 3 to 4 business days for some Country and WA deliveries where stock is coming from our central distribution centre please allow a further 2 to 3 days for deliveries
When making Your Online Purchase You can select "pick up from local Strandbags store" in the billing section of the checkout. On selecting the option "pick up from local Strandbags Store" you are given an option to enter your postcode and from this we will supply a list of the closest stores available for you to chose where you wish to collect the Products You order (note that the closest available store may not be the closest physical store). There are no delivery fees for this service all You pay for is the cost of the goods You buy and we will get them to the store you select at no extra cost to You.
You will be advised by phone when Your order is ready for collection but as a guide for most store pick ups we work to 3 to 4 business days to have your order ready for collection, for some Country and WA deliveries where stock is coming from our central distribution centre please allow a further 2 to 3 days from the date of purchase. When collecting goods you must present a copy of the e-mailed order confirmation or photo ID.
Our Store collection service only covers Mainland Australian and Tasmania Stores
In the unlikely event that You are not completely satisfied with your purchases, items can be returned within 30 days of receipt by visiting a Strandbags store or via Australia Post. Please note it may take up to 28 days for a return via Australia Post to be processed and We are unable to refund the cost of postage and packing for items deemed by You to be unsuitable.
Returns to Store
Items purchased from Us online can be returned to any of Our stores within 30 days of receipt. You must have proof of purchase and the credit card You used to make the Online Purchase at the time of returning the goods. Refunds can only be processed to the same credit card which was used in the purchase transaction.
The store locator function on the Website can be used to find the most convenient store for You to return Your items.
Returning via Australia Post
Items purchased from Us online can be returned via Australia Post within 30 days of receipt. If returning Your items via Australia Post, complete all relevant details on the Returns Slip, including the reason for return. Securely repack the items being returned in the original packaging and include the completed Returns Slip. The Returns Label received with Your order should be fixed over the original delivery label on the front of Your parcel.
Please ensure a Certificate of Posting is obtained when depositing Your parcel with Australia Post. This should be kept in a safe place as it bears a unique reference number which is used to trace Your parcel should it fail to be delivered to Us. We will be unable to make a refund in the event that Your parcel is lost without sighting Your Certificate of Posting.
